Brazilian winger Vinicius Jr. says he's feeling like he doesn't want to play football anymore because people keep being racist towards him. Last season, there were 10 times when Vinicius was racially abused while playing for Real Madrid in Spain. He said this during a press conference where he got very emotional. Vinicius said he won't let the racists win by leaving Spain or Real Madrid. He wants to stay and keep playing so they can see his face more often. But he's finding it hard to keep going because of the abuse.

Brazil is playing against Spain in Madrid as part of a campaign against racism. Vinicius said, "I just want to play football, but it's hard. I feel less and less like playing." Last week, Real Madrid complained because the referee didn't mention the racist abuse in his report after their match against Osasuna. The team says Osasuna fans were racist, but Osasuna denies it.

According to BBC sports news Vinicius has been racially abused many times before. Once, before a match against Atletico Madrid, some of their fans said bad things about him. Last June, some people were fined and banned from stadiums for being racist towards Vinicius. This season, there have been reports of racism when Real Madrid played against Sevilla, Barcelona, and Valencia.

Battle For Nkhoma

Bangwe all stars from Blantyre might be having a problem with Mighty Mukuru Wanderers because they both say they've signed Chimwemwe Nkhoma.
Photo:Nkhoma's Contract

Mighty Mukuru Wanderers said Chimwemwe Nkhoma signed with them, but Bangwe All Stars showed a contract Chimwemwe signed with them last year. The contract says Chimwemwe signed to play with Bangwe All Stars for two years, starting from January 1, 2024. Christopher Nyambose, the coach for Bangwe, witnessed the signing.

Bangwe All Stars said Chimwemwe left them on February 22, 2024, saying he was sick, and went to his hometown, Mzuzu. They said they already got clearance papers from his old team, Mayamiko Stars.

Bangwe All Stars complained to the Football Association of Malawi about this. It's strange because Steve Madeira, who helped bring Chimwemwe to Wanderers, was with Bangwe when Chimwemwe signed with them. Mighty Mukuru Wanderers haven't said anything about this yet.
