Kamuzu Barracks FC has announced the departure of three players from its roster: defender Mathews Zaulombo, winger Thoko Harrison, and midfielder Nelson Kangunje. The decision to part ways with these players follows a review of the team's performance during the 2023 season, which did not meet expectations.

expressed gratitude to the departing trio for their efforts and wished them luck in their future endeavors. He acknowledged that external factors, such as the team environment, can influence success or failure.
In addition to the three departures, defender Nation Harazi and RWA Chimwemwe Chisambi will also be unavailable due to work commitments. However, Levison Maganizo and Loyd Mugala have been granted permission to explore opportunities elsewhere.
To fill the gaps in the roster, Kamuzu Barracks FC is in the process of identifying new talent, with talent identification trials scheduled from 5th to 9th February. The club anticipates announcing new signings to strengthen the team ahead of the upcoming season.
